German Language School Cleveland

About:
The German Language School Cleveland teaches the German language and culture to children and adults in a cultural setting within a supportive classroom environment. The school proudly looks back on over 60 years of high-quality education.

Classes:
Children’s classes are being offered on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Children from 4-6 years of age begin Kindergarten and progress through eight levels. Adults are instructed on four levels on Wednesday evenings. Assessments, formal and informal, are a regular part of classes.

We offer National German High School Exams (AATG) as well as the German Language Diploma (Deutsches Sprachdiplom).

Events:
Throughout the school year students and friends of the German Language School enjoy participating in cultural events such as the St.Martin’s Parade, Christmas Program, Karnevalsfeier and “Kinderfest.”

Summer Camp:
A week-long summer camp is also offered with a unique theme each year. Children will enjoy participating in sports, crafts, songs and games.
No previous knowledge of German is necessary.
